I am first and foremost, a mother to 6 amazing children. They keep me on my toes and keep me laughing daily. Our children range from 13-21 years. We are out of the baby stages here and it makes my baby fever rampant! I am the wife to a hard-working, and doting husband, who is by far the most supportive man I know. At some point each of you has or will meet him, he is my "prop engineer"! He can be seen carrying sofas and backdrops, holding puppies while their family takes a portrait, or wrangling a baby or two!

 

I am also a Mimi. I never thought I would be a *gasp* grandmother at 38 years old but here I am rocking it! Athena (October 2019), Brexton (March 2021), and Ashton (April 2022) are the absolute pride and joy of our lives. Goodness, it is true being a grandparent is so much different and more than being a parent. Being a Mimi is such a special thing and it is a job I take very seriously. Gracious I love my babies so much. Sadly we lost Brexton unexpectedly (August 2021), our hearts are forever changed but will remain grateful for the time we had with him and expectant for the future we have with him in eternity.

 

I have been photographing babies and children since 2009 when I started with my own children and my best friend's new daughter. With several nudges from them, I began my journey. Since 2009 I have grown my hobby and learned my craft. I have come so very far since my very first newborn session and continue to learn daily with each session. My style has evolved over the years and will more than likely continue to! I have a hard time settling on one thing or being decisive. I love light and mood so incorporating those two things is a must!

 

Aside from photography I enjoy reading and am currently reading Where the Crawdads Sing, crafting around the house, scrapbooking, and decorating. I dare say if you cannot find us at home, we are on the ball field. With 4 boys who love baseball that is where you can find us in the spring and fall. And, of course, if not there we will be attending cheer or volleyball, leading Girl Scouts, or helping Coach baseball. Our family loves the outdoors and camping too, and with boy boys...fishing! Now that the kids are much older we enjoy traveling and seeing new places. I am always up for trying new things and meeting new people!

 

All of that to say, I promise I am a regular ole' Mom seeking to honor God with the skill and desire he has given me to bless others with precious memories. So that is it about me, ask anything else you would like to know!
